I can't wait to attend the SCBWI Miami Conference on Friday!

I've been a conference addict since I attended my first one in early 2005. I always come back with so much information and inspiration--and I can't wait to have my middle grade novels critiqued by Arthur Levine and Linda Sue Park!

I'm looking forward to seeing many of my writing friends this weekend!

The faculty is amazing. It was so hard to choose my two workshops!

Which conference are you attending next? I still hope to make it to the NESCBWI Conference, but don't know if Hubby can watch the girls that weekend.

I was going to attend that conference or maybe the one n Coco Beach but I choose to hold off until my writing is complete. I am planning on attending the Orlando conference-it will be one first-I'm a conference virgin-a little nervous-but I know I'll love it!

The Florida conferences are amazing--and everyone is so friendly. You'll learn a lot and have a great weekend. I also had wanted to feel like my writing was complete before plunging into my first conference, but once I went, I wished I had started sooner.

Thanks so much, Sharon. It was a wonderful weekend! I came back ready to attack one more round of revisions on one MG, and now I can't wait to dig into revisions on my newest MG! You'll be seeing the first twenty pages soon. :)

Hi Elliah! I wrote a fairly long post on The Prose Shop, and an even longer, more detailed blog on it yesterday.
