Making progress

Well, I decided to dedicate the rest of this week - and at least part of next week to my YA WIP without stopping to revise or write other projects. I'm so excited that I finally hit over the 100 page mark!!! Actually, I'm on page 110 and word count in the 32,000 range. Feels great to be back into this again after taking time off to juggle other projects.

My five year old, Samantha, had her vaccines yesterday. I was getting ready to put her to bed tonight when my older daughter and I noticed that her arm was red in between where the two vaccines were. I called the doctor, and during the hour plus waiting (yes, you heard me right)hubby came home - and that blotchy red mark had turned into a huge, hot, red bump. I stayed home trying to calm my 8 year old down while hubby rushed my little one to the hospital. She didn't have a fever and seemed to feel fine, but my older one has had cellulitus 5 times and was hospitalized twice (the first time was right after her 5 year old vaccines). This is the first time Sammi had any kind of reaction like that. I feel so helpless! And here I was getting a little frustrated with the wait time for a manuscript - time has really been dragging tonight.
