I did it

After much debate, I decided to take Lauren Barnholdt's teen chick-lit writing class. It sounds like an amazing opportunity - and I think it will help me feel in control of my career again. Every time I receive a rejection, it feels like someone grabs that power out of my hands. Every time I mail a new submission - I feel like I'm taking some of that power back. I will be extremely busy (the class begins the day a conference ends and a few days later I have relatives staying with me, Rebecca's 8th birthday to celebrate, then her party, another party and a carnival that weekend). I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a lot of yawning that week, but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Thanks to Rose and Cynthia for helping me make this decision - and Lauren and Amanda for answering a ton of questions :-)
