Goals always help keep me motivated, so I'm thrilled that it's time for JoNoWriMo+1.5 again. It's not too late to state your goals through the end of November, and cheer each other on along the way. Here's the link, in case you haven't signed up yet: http://community.livejournal.com/jonowrimo/.

Now I just have to come up with my official goals. I'm in the process of jotting down ideas and making character sketches for my new MG, but think I'll wait until November, since I love the NaNo push. Last year, I wrote Adventures of Bra Girl in 17 days! Of course, I spent tons of time revising it over the next 6 - 7 months. Now that it's finished, there are a lot of projects I'd like to work on before November 1st, so I can clear most of my schedule for my new novel. It might be overwhelming to list them all at once, so I'll only write a few and hope to add to my list once I complete these.

My official JoNoWriMo goals are:
* Do a round of revision on two MG novels.
* Revise six picture books (and hopefully submit at least two of them by the end of JoNoWriMo).
In November, I'll add writing my new MG.

What are your short and long term goals?
